Dominikanerweingut C. von Nell-Breuning is a family-run estate in Kasel, founded in 1670 and run by Dr. Carmen von Nell-Breuning, certified Demeter and biodynamic. Its Riesling and Spätburgunder come from the Dominikanerberg, Kaseler Kehrnagel and Kaseler Nies'chen sites, on the slate steep slopes of the Ruwer valley, a cool side valley of the Mosel that gives the wines lightness and minerality; visits are by appointment.
